A Closer Look at PHENIX and TKMT’s Reversible TYPE P-010 Jacket
For Autumn/Winter ‘25, Phenix and Takahiro Miyashita collaborated on a line of outerwear, bridging the gap between their disparaging identities. Combining functionality and innovative design, the series represents a common ground.
Alongside a handful of other jackets, one of the fruits of their labour was the Reversible TYPE P-010 Jacket, a modern take on a fundamental layer of the ECWS (Extreme Cold Weather System). The jacket brings together two iconic outerwear styles: the Monster Parka and Fishing Vest, which can be configured to your liking. Depending on how you wear the jacket, the exterior changes, allowing you to choose whether the vest or parka is outwardly facing. For example, choosing the Fishing Vest as the exterior allows you to optimise its assortment of pockets, whereas the Monster Parka offers a cleaner look. The jacket is insulated using synthetic padding, working to efficiently retain heat. Additional features include an adjustable and stowable hood.
