A Closer Look at the Mountain Ghurka Shoe by NICENESS and Veneto
Leaning on the expertise of the Italian factory, Veneto, renowned for its understanding of specialist shoes, NICENESS proposes a new footwear silhouette for Spring/Summer ‘24: the Mountain Ghurka Shoe.
Combining design characteristics of the traditional Ghurka sandal with the trail-ready mountain boot, NICENESS and Veneto have developed the Mountain Ghurka Shoe which carries a very unique appearance. The upper is made using a subtle blend of tonal nubuck and nappa leather that co-exist seamlessly and provide a balanced texture throughout. Moving towards the outsole, a cushioned Vibram sole unit is in place to provide added traction and comfort. Metallic eyelets and hiking boot-inspired laces round off the shoe, a simple nod to the archetypal mountain boot that the shoe is partly based on. The Mountain Ghurka Shoe comes in two colourways: Charcoal and Cream.
