J.KIM Unveils its Autumn/Winter '23 Collection

J.KIM Unveils its Autumn/Winter '23 Collection

Inspired by the designer’s multicultural background, J.Kim has unveiled its Autumn/Winter ’23 following the success of the brand’s Paris Fashion Week showroom.

As a Korean born in Uzbekistan, J.Kim’s design work is a tool to establish her own design language by exploring her unique identity in a way that the industry has yet to be exposed to. Drawing on cultural references from Uzbekistan and Korea, the garments reference traditional uniforms and lifestyles to architecture and local traditions.

In regards to Autumn/Winter ‘23, the collection references image-conscious women who pay great detail to their appearance with unconventionally-dyed hair and immaculate manicures, as exemplified through excessively layered garments that incorporate bright colours. Demonstrating its ability to merge cultural points with modern silhouettes, J.Kim has created a myriad of styles including cropped sweaters, cargo pants, dresses, cocoon-like coats, skirts and more. The brand’s iconic puffer remains in rotation as it incorporates faux fur and out-there colours where deemed appropriate.
