MAPLE Creates an Exclusive Collection for BEAUTY＆YOUTH UNITED ARROWS / Monkey Time
Canadian-based jeweler MAPLE has been tapped by Japanese retail heavyweights BEAUTY＆YOUTH UNITED ARROWS / Monkey Time to produce an exclusive collection for the Spring/Summer ‘21 season.
The collaborative jewelry pieces include a coin ring and chain constructed with solid silver 925 and 14k gold plated center coin. MAPLE, known for their eclectic and nostalgic references, applies the text "is it all over my face?" to both the ring and chain designs, which is a nod to the 1980 produced record “Loose Joints - Is it all over my face?” . The coin design is capped off with a peace sign, yin and yang symbol, and MAPLE branding on the reverse side. While the coin offering features a tapered silhouette, expanded towards the coin side while tapering all around, the chain design is minimal, simply connected directly to the coin itself.
