sacai Unveils Its Holiday 2021 Collection
sacai is getting in the holiday season slightly ahead of schedule with its upcoming ‘Holiday 2021’ collection of goods.
Within the collection are five different lineups of products that all speak volumes of Sacai’s design language. This includes knitwear from Sacai’s ready-to-wear lineup, accessories, Sacai x PORTER luggage, tea-ware that has been collaboratively developed with Astier de Villatte and, finally, the ‘Zantan’ series of umbrellas, bags and Colotan teddy bear. If you know someone that is a fan of the label, they have covered pretty much every angle in terms of gifts. The ‘Zantan’ lineup sees various products clad in patchwork makeovers which are actually leftover fabric from Sacai’s archive. In keeping with the bold nature of the pieces, knitwear makes use of colour blocking and the implementation of Nordic patterns. For PORTER enthusiasts, tote bags and rucksacks are reconstructed in two-tone fabrics and overydyed processes.
Available from sacai’s online store and retail locations on Friday, 19th of November.
