The North Face Purple Label Reworks Dr. Martens' 101 6-Eye Boot
For Autumn/Winter ‘21, The North Face Purple Label has worked alongside Dr. Martens to develop a bespoke version of the latter’s 101 6-eye boot style.
The boot has been designed to reflect the styling and feel of The North Face Purple Label’s Autumn/Winter ‘21 collection and accompany the resulting garments whilst remaining authentic to Dr. Martens’ identity. The 101 6-eye boot has been crafted from a water-repellent full-grain leather which integrates ‘Dry Wair’, a waterproof and breathable membrane, as the lining that allows sweat to escape with moisture permeating through. The outsole has been specially designed with deep-set rubber lugs to grip onto surfaces without slipping. Providing a stark contrast to the matte upper, purple accents can be found throughout the lining and also on the laces. Keeping the boot tonal, the eyelets have been colour-matched. There are two colours to choose from including Black and Neutral Grey.
