The North Face Purple Label Autumn/Winter '20

The North Face Purple Label’s Autumn/Winter ‘20 lookbook, aptly named ‘Whisper of the wind’, serves to fulfil the changing needs of urban outdoor living.

The vision behind this season orientates around the concept of ‘low impact’ living, advocated in "Urban Outdoor Life" by Kazuhiro Ashizawa; adopting a lifestyle that has as little impact on the environment as possible. Staying true to their word, they have adopted materials and fabrics that have the least environmental impact without compromising their technical capabilities. Iconic seasonal pieces like the Twill and Denim Pants see their traditional 100% cotton construction change slightly with the use of organic cotton. Then, this is fused with a synthetic COOLMAX® to deliver a sustainable and environmentally sound product. The down-fill in outerwear and cardigans is sourced from one of Japan’s leading feather manufacturers, Kawada Feathers, that is lightweight and soft to the touch, as well as being insulating. GORE-TEX INFINIUM™ can be found on oversized puffer jackets and is arguably the most suitable option for urban outdoor living considering its functionality, comfort and convenience, as well as its waterproof and breathable properties. Sleeveless parkas, long fleece jackets and oversized pants are a few of many pieces Homma’s label will be delivering this season.

The first pieces from the collection will be available from the end of July onwards from select stockists in Japan.
