TELA Autumn/Winter '19

TELA Autumn/Winter '19

As we continue into the new decade, it becomes more and more obvious that the once typical ideals of menswear and womenswear no longer exist. Labels like TELA do wonders in announcing the shift into loose, almost genderless cuts along styles that are no longer gender specific.

AW19 is a mix of previously masculine staples done in a way that look refreshingly congruous, framing double breasted blazers, overcoats, tweed sports coats, hunting shirts, and much more in a new light. Bright tones completely throw out the dark palettes associated with the colder season, though Autumnal hues in the form of camel swathes, deep browns, saturated mustards, and other earth tone shades find use across every product category. Large lapels adorn the lengthened constructions of the gorgeous tweeds in a look fit for a winter’s day commute, while traditional wide collar blousons surprisingly come paired with matching pencil skirts. Puffer jackets, in both short and long variants, are just some of the warm weather armors, resting next to its team of oversized scarfs, distressed knitwear, and the aforementioned. Boots, in leathers dipped in dyes other than black, are classic Chelseas with contrast heels: a perfect summary of the dichotomy that lies throughout.

For all that and more, grab a peek at the full collection below (you won’t regret it).
