TROVE Spring/Summer '19
Set to make garments that outlast all of us, Japanese label TROVE has taken an appreciation of vintage garments and turned it into something quite refreshing. SS19 holds their seasoned aesthetic while dialing in the new meets old motif to level 10.
Dressed almost fully in earth tones, each piece encompasses a facet of their own, taking on both casual shirting while redesigning classic blazers in a kit more boxy with curved hems and a cropped body adding a bit of extra intrigue. Square hems — something quite uncommon today — are scattered through a series of tops in all sorts of shades, complimenting the loose short, mid-calf, and ankle length bottoms. Airy button ups with elongated backs poke out of work jackets and v-neck vests while anoraks, work coats, patchwork robes, belted raincoats, and many others showcase a bit of fashion from all ages.
