In their own performance-driven approach to design, Japanese label alk phenix is extending an air of practicality into an SS19 collection that surprises in depth.

Alongside compression pieces and running styles are sets of outerwear that impress in their utility. Ventilating holes outlined with a reflective material push both hi-vis as well as extensive breathability while oversized pockets, magnetic clasps, and double layer tops express mindful innovation. What seems to steal the show, alongside the running-ready apparel, are technical jackets which are diverse in their styling. Anoraks feature huge compartments across their chest, hooded bodies come adorned with two sets of zippers, mixed material hoodies hide an underlying second layer.

Be sure to check out the collection in full below.
