Though often difficult to delve deeper into the mind of a fashion designer’s passions far outside of the realm of clothing, some are quite unashamed. Further proving that no individual is ever so one dimension, Junichi Abe of kolor -- just as NIGO with music or Jun Takahashi with running -- reveals a quite heartfelt appreciation for the art of Bonsai.
A near mirror of him and his own pieces, the Japanese designer goes as far to feature the well-known Masashi Hirao and the work he’s painstakingly dedicated much of his life to. Independent since way back in 2007 and then being chosen by the Cultural Envoy and visiting 11 countries, the young creative is now capture the attention of many within kolor’s flagship store.
A one time experience to put things lightly, expect the event to take place alongside an exclusive release during Tokyo fashion week.
