Snow Peak Previews its Latest Chaco Collaboration on the 'Lowdown Slide SP Pro'
What started last year as a humble homage to camping footwear has flourished into a second collaboration between Snow Peak and Chacos.
Following suit on their inaugural project, Snow Peak puts its spin on one of Chacos’ most popular models, the Lowdown Slide SP Pro - a low-profile sport sandal that is designed for recovering by the campfire. For comfort and ease of access, there is no webbing at the rear which means the sandal can easily be slipped on and off. The midsole is made using EVA foam and the footbed utilises contoured LUVSEAT™ technology which supports the arch of the foot. The outsole uses Chacos’ proprietary ChacoGrip™ rubber compound which provides a certain degree of traction.
Collaborative touches can be seen in the form of Snow Peak branding on the jacquard webbing and Chacos on the footbed and adjustable part. The colour scheme is inspired by one of Snow Peaks tents, featuring hits of brown, black and red.
